Ahmed Faraz
Education: University of Toronto 2T9 BASc Mechanical Engineering 1x Dean's List

I'm Ahmed Faraz,
a Mechanical Engineering student.

I am a first-year student at the University of Toronto exploring various areas of engineering. I have dabbled in multiple design teams, including UTSM, UTFR, & UTAT. While I intend to dedicate myself to one in the near future, it has been an enjoyable experience learning from all three! Over my first-year summer, I intend to explore the realm of Mechatronics through building a robot! Besides that, I am honored to be researching aerogel composites at the Toronto Smart Materials & Structures (TSMART) lab. I also enjoy learning outside the classroom, gaining knowledge through online courses such as UMichigan's "AI for Mechanical Engineers" or building practical skills by participating in hackathons.

Scroll below to see how I'm applying engineering principles to real-world hardware!
